The Consumer Protection of the Department of Economic Development in Umm Al Quwain confiscated number of smoking Shish (water pipe) from some shops. According to Jouma Jassim Ahmed, head of the Consumer Protection section of the Department  of Economic Development in Umm Al Quwain “The Consumer Protection of the Department  of Economic Development in Umm Al Quwain confiscated number of smoking Shish (water pipe) which has the form of a ball and flying the State flag with its various colors, from some tobacco and smoking supplies shops spread  in emirate markets. Based on directives of Mansour Sultan Bin Rashid Al Kharji the General Manager of the Department  of Economic Development in Umm Al Quwain, the Department of Consumer Protection organized a sudden inspection campaigns on emirate's markets resulted the confiscation of a large number of smoking Shish (water pipe) flying the State flag strict warnings. The head of Consumer Protection section of the Department  of Economic Development in Umm Al Quwain had been warning shops selling tobacco and smoking supplies of the consequences of selling  such (shish) for cafes spread in emirate, pointing that he called business owners and handed them a warning stern regarding the sale of (shish) in the form of balls – flying Emirates flag which is bad for the state, pointing at the same time that they will impose  strict measures excluding breaches on the owners of these shops, so they will not even dare to use such (shish) inspection campaigns. He added that the Consumer Protection section of the Department  of Economic Development will organize inspection campaigns on all cafes in the emirate to confiscate all the(shish)in event of traded , pointing that the department inspectors will do an inspection campaign to monitor prices in the emirate markets in cooperation with the competent authorities, as will be carried out  in the coming days a sudden inspection campaigns to Malls and shops in the emirate in cooperation with the Consumer Protection Committee composed of  the Department  of Economic Development, the Municipal Department and the Economic Office in Umm Al Quwain.
