The agreement targets technical cooperation regarding issuing and renewing licenses for tourism establishments, conducting tourism-related surveys, holding mutual symposia and building the proper communication channels needed to render such surveys a success. Exchanging tourism information and offering mutual support with regard to attracting tourism investments are also among the list of targets.

As per the agreement, concerned employees at Umm Al Qaiwain Economic Development Department will be trained by ATDD staffers on classification systems and standards approved for tourism installations in Ajman.
